'Day of the Triffid' Concept Art

For this project, I had to design 4  concept art compositions that would symbolize the film 'Day of the Triffid.'

I re-designed the Triffid. For reference, I brought a 'Fly Trap' Plant and took many pictures of it:

  

From the photographs I took, I designed the head for the triffid:

Arms and body designed from plant too. 

 

Idea of Triffid being able to fly. Used same idea of the arms from the plant, however I designed them bigger enabling the new designed Triffid to fly.

I'm not pleased with these concept art designs, therefore I will definitely develop these further, so keep watch :D

'to hold infinity in the palm of your hand'

In the module Virtual Environments, we had to write a 2000 word essay as well as a cover and 2 illustrations. 

Out of the 2 questions, I chose the one infinity question.

These are the two illustrations I designed. 

The purpose of this illustration is to show that a key can unlock the future.

The purpose of this illustration is to demonstrate the effect of what pollution can cause.

Update of PJ Smoothies

Since the last post of the PJ Smoothies, I have designed more posters. 

These are the few more that I have designed:

  

  

My next step is to pick 3 contrasting designs and keep developing them till I get my final 3 designs.

This was the first idea I had designed for the outdoor campaign. Next step for this design is to mess around with the image behind the PJ Smoothies bottle and also try different layouts and maybe the colours. 

 

This was the last one I designed for the scary collection. The image of the scary skull has been discontinued because the idea of the skull wouldn't work as it is for a smoothie. However I am going to develop the 'dark' idea further and see what I get up to. 

This was the last poster idea I designed. It has more of a smoothie cartoony feel to it, therefore will mess around with the layout and also the images that are along the bottom.

Canvas Paintings

I love painting canvases. Whenever I want to get my mind off things or just to kill time I start painting. I have loads of ideas of different types of canvases that I'd like to create so I never have nothing to do. 

The first ever canvases I painted were for my friend back in 2006. I didn't take any pictures of this as it was a long time ago but hopefully Ill get an image and upload it.

None of these are perfect, however its a start to something that could be successful in the near future :D
