Logo Design for Urban Inspiration

My Client Urban Inspiration.

I was told my client that the logo has to have the words 'Urban Inspiration, Look Inspired, handbags, accessories' on it as well as an icon of a lady holding a bag. Colours had to be black and grey. 

These are four designs I created from the brief above.

Out of the designs above, the 2nd one down was the one my client chose.

Starline Preview

This is how the Horoscope Starline looks like. 

How it works?

Basically all you have to do is to click and drag the star along the bottom to browse through the star signs. Once you see your star sign, click on it and an animation will appear on the screen above the star signs. You then have to click start to view the animation. Within the animations, depending on your star sign, you will interact through the animation. At the end of the animation you can either replay it, or view any other star signs by dragging the star again and clicking on another star line. Or by clicking on 'Back 2 Starline' which is displayed at the end of the each animation. 

Unfortunately, I cannot upload the whole animation or mini animations as they contain buttons, and exporting them doesn't allow them to work :(

Flyers

For the flyers,  I  wanted to keep them simple and space like. Each flyer shows what the star sign is, as well as the stone, ruling planet, element and also qualities of the horoscope.

New Idea New Design - Horoscope Starline

This is my new idea and design for this project.

These images are screenshots of the Horoscope Starline. 

All the animations within the starline are similar to one another, but with different nebulas in the background.

Horoscope Starline

I have changed the idea so its more interesting. I have designed a horoscope star line (basically like a timeline but instead of time/years I have got the names for the horoscopes on a timeline).

USER INTERACTION

The user would have to scroll along this star line to select their horoscopes. For each horoscope an animation will appear with information about their horoscope and know exactly what it means. For the animations, I have also included the ink nebulas that I have created previously to give the animations more of the space feeling.

PURPOSE

Purpose of this star line is to enable users to interact with their horoscopes and learn more about them. I gave out a questionnaire to a few people asking what their horoscopes were and also asked if they knew what their signs meant, etc. They all knew their horoscopes but not what they meant. So from this questionnaire, I learnt that people would like to know what their horoscopes meant and gain more knowledge of their signs.

IN ADDITION

I have also thought that in addition to the interactive star line, to design 12 A5 flyers for each horoscope, that would show this information. These flyers could be placed for example, in the SU shop, or library foyer, where students and teachers pass everyday and would go up to this stand and pick their own horoscope flyer and gain knowledge for it.
